I only have been a few hours at your hotel and I get an awful experience, which I never had in any other Hotel. Returning from late dinner, my wife was asked to show her passport at entering the hotel.
She was being treated as a prostitute! Apparently she was not listed as a guest but on checkin we arrived both together and presented both passports at checkin! What a way to treat your customers!

First of all we would like to send you our sincere apologies for the inconveniences mentioned. As explained in your review, eventhough we requested both passports upon check in, we made a mistake when registering your partner in our system and we realized that we did not have all necessary details to complete the registration form.
Being this a legal requirement in all hotels in Spain, once we realized of the mistake we tried to contact you as soon as we possibly could to request the missing information. After your review in trip advisor, we unsuccessfully tried to contact you several times during your stay and only upon check out we had the opportunity to apologize and have an explanation of your experience in detail.
Again we are terribly sorry that you felt treated in a way that by no means was at any time intended, as our objective was only to complete all details from the registration form in our system. Please accept again our most sincere apologies. We visited Alicante last week for a short city break with hopefully a little sunshine thrown in. We weren't disappointed. The Hospes Amerigo is jus a coupe of streets back from the beautiful marina.
