You take the one hour offer as you slip off your shoes and enter their shop. They provide you with some clothing to change into and lead you into a room with a bunch of curtains and beds. They close the curtain halfway and tell you to change. She begins with your feet, cracking your toes and stretching your ankles. She holds onto your shoulder and puts your leg onto the opposite side of the bed and cracks one side of your back.
It feels good. She massages your left arm and stretches it as well. She then repeats the whole process on the other side of your body. Next, she flips you onto your front.
She massages the knots out of the back of your leg. She might even walk on them. She does the same to the other leg. Next, she begins to work on your back. She digs her elbow into it, getting the knots out. It hurts, but a good kind of hurt, a necessary hurt to help with your back problems. She cracks your back in all sorts of ways and gets some knots out of the back of your neck as well. She stretches out your arms behind your body and cracks your back like the picture shown below.
Last, she has you sit cross legged at the front of the bed, then lay down on a pillow on her lap. She works out the knots in your neck and might give you a head massage. Afterwards, she has you sit cross legged at the front of the bed again. She cracks your entire back by twisting your body to its side, and does the other side as well. She puts your arms behind your head and cracks your back along the height of your body.
She quickly returns with some ginger tea for you. You sip on it in your bed. When you finish your tea, you change out of your clothes, and head to the front of the shop. You pay baht and walk out feeling pretty refreshed. However, some people have said Thai massage was the worst experience of their lives because of how much it hurt. No pain no gain. Experiences may vary. It was my first time in Thailand. I was excited, for I was in the country I heard about since I hit puberty.
